The EPHOR
 project

The Exposome Project for Health and Occupational Research will lay the groundwork for evidence-based and cost-effective prevention for improving health at work, by developing a working life exposome toolbox.

To put their project on the map, I was asked to design a logo, icon-set and some infographics explaining what it is EPHOR does.

logo

The logo visualises a powerful worker who can concur the bad impact that work can have on him/her.

The logo comes in different variations so there's a suitable one for every platform. For example an icon for social media platforms.

icons

The icons are made with simple purple lines, combined with yellow accents that give more detailed information. Similar icons can be used for similar topics, but the yellow accent gives it a twist. The lightbulb for example visualises 'knowledge', but when the yellow wire turns into an arrow, it means 'improved knowledge'.

illustrations

Illustrations can help to visualise complex topics.

The flat-design illustrations that I created only have subtle shading. No lines are used which distinguishes them from the icons.

infographics

Everything comes together in the infographics: icons, illustrations, colours and shapes.

Because the infographics are often needed in presentations, they are all designed to fit perfectly on a PowerPoint-slide.
